Over four decades of providing the highest quality and technology for the wire and cable industry.

NIEHOFF-HERBORN MÁQUINAS LTDA. was founded in July 1975 as a subsidiary of the German companies Maschinenfabrik Niehoff GmbH & Co. KG and Maschinenfabrik Herborn GmbH. Since March 18, 1997, NHM has been a wholly owned subsidiary of the Niehoff Group.  Since then, it has constantly developed equipment and services with high expertise to deliver robust solutions for the manufacturing of wires and cables from non-ferrous materials. Currently, NHM has a modern factory with approximately 6,500 m² of built area. It continually invests in new, state-of-the-art equipment, aiming at continuous improvement of the quality of the products produced.

History of NHM

a journey through time

Our group has German roots. In its current form, the company was founded in 1951 by Walter Niehoff. 

The complete history of the group dates back to the 18th century.

2013

Delivery of the hundredth multi-wire drawing machine.

2009

Fourth stage of factory expansion

with a new boilermaking area and transformation of the previous one into the current area for assembling electrical panels and storing large parts.

1992

Delivery of the hundredth machine

Buncher D630.

1989

Third stage of factory expansion

with the opening of a new area for the boiler shop, expansion of the social area and doubling of the offices. First three multi-wire drawing lines, produced in Brazil and delivered to the Brazilian market.

1985

Second stage of factory expansion

with the doubling of the mechanical assembly area.

1981

First stage of factory expansion

to house the warehouse, technical offices and the light machining area.

1977

Opening of Niehoff Herborn Máquinas Ltda.'s own factory

in the city of Barueri, State of São Paulo, in May 1977.

1975

Foundation of Niehoff Herborn Machines Ltda.
